I’m sorry to hear Donnacha has left us after what seemed like a difficult but inspiring life. We met learning shiatsu at Lios Dána above Inch Strand in Kerry. I then came across him again when at Willie Clancy Summer School in the early 90’s (with Eoin Bairéad), where his mum Anne kept us all deliciously fed. We have his book also and he’s remained in our thoughts. May he rest in peace and may all who mourn for him find solace in having known him.
— Mary O’Neill
He gave the best (certainly the toughest!) Shiatsu I ever had - he had steel thumbs. I measc na laochra!
