Dorothy Woodcock

So very sad to read of the passing of Dorothy. Her and David were such lovely neighbours as I grew up as a child and she was such a lovely lady. Sadly missed.

Very sad to hear the news of Dorothy’s passing. She will be missed by so many people - thinking of her extended family, friends and neighbours at this time.

Dorothy touched the lives of so many with her kindness. Her interest in people her humour honesty love of animals made her many friends.. We are sad that she is gone from us. May she delight now in that lovely light of that home where her beloved David awaits her

Very sad to hear of the death of Dorothy. Got to know Dorothy and David when they came to live in Ballycloghan many years ago and what wonderful neighbours they were. My children have lovely memories of visiting them and playing with their three lovely dogs both in Ballycloghan and Ardagh.
Spent many enjoyable days working alongside Dorothy in our volunteer work. Such an elegant lady and so positive despite suffering the terrible loss of her husband David. Condolences to her cousins, neighbours and friends. May she rest eternally.

I got to know Dorothy when she and David first came to live in Longford many years ago. They were a wonderful couple who loved their dogs and enjoyed their visits to the library and had a great interest in the the arts. Dorothy is now reunited with her beloved David in their new home. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
