I offer my sincere sympathy to Aisling and David on the death of their beloved aunt. I worked with Aldona in the HSE Ballinasloe and she was a very enthusiastic colleague who was devoted to providing an excellent service. She was very caring and engaging with colleagues and service users.

I am very sorry to hear of the sad passing of Dr Aldona McBride. Dr Aldona was our doctor with Group 70 of the IHCPT in Lourdes, many years ago. She gave 100% commitment to the care of our special young people and invaluable support and advise to those of us, responsible for their care. Her kindness and support will never be forgotten.

Very sorry to read of the passing of Aldona. Such a lovely lady taken far too soon. Fondly remembered from the years travelling to Lourdes with gp 70 IHCPT. Her exceptional care towards the handicapped children knew no bounds. Full of love and kindness, she deserves her reward in Heaven. Sorry to have missed her funeral. May her gentle soul Rest-in- Peace.

So sorry to hear Aldona passed away, great memories of her and the family on Palmerstown Drive when we were growing up. she was a lovely lady. Also sad to see that her brother Sean passed away recently my Mam always talked about him and loved meeting him.

It's with deep sadness that I learned today of Aldona's passing. My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to her family, David and Ashling and all her extended family. I visited her recently to sympathize with her on the death of her beloved brother Sean to whom she was very close. In spite of being very unwell she was still her friendly self full of smiles and chat.
We studied together in UCD and were great friends until graduation in 1968
Like all graduates we moved on and went our separate ways. But, our friendship was rekindled when we met again at our 50th Class reunion in 2018. It was wonderful to retrace the great UCD memories.
Aldona was a kind and gentle person. She bore her long illness with great humour and stoicism. She will be sadly missed
Rest in Peace Aldona. It is a privilege to have been your friend. I shall remember you with fondness.

Our condolences also on the death some months ago of her brother Séan; It was only in recent weeks that we learned he passed away last year. We have fond memories of them and of all the family including their late sister Carmel and their parents when the family lived in Palmerstown.
