Eamonn was a great friend to many of us in insurance industry and was inspirational in how he conducted himself, made his life, how he cherished his family and how he connected with people. I’m so sorry to hear the devastating news of Eamonn’s untimely death. I worked with him at Lloyd’s and shared a few cups of tea and occasional gossip in the Lloyd’s coffee shop. He was always a delight to spend time with, exceptionally knowledgeable, kind and wise. He will be sorely missed.

I met Eamonn when I joined Coyle Hamilton, in '84 and had so much craic with him after work, particularly at his favourite pub, Ashton's, during the Summer, introducing me to horse-riding up in Stepaside on Sunday mornings, hungover and sore after rugby on Saturday, driving in his beloved Fiat 127 Turbo & was so happy for all your success with Lloyd's

Dear Sarah and family, I was truly shocked and very saddened to hear of the tragic death of Eamonn. I have some very fond memories of times hunting with Eamonn with the South County Dublin Hunt over many years. It was always a true pleasure to meet Eamonn. He was so full of energy and enthusiasm about everything. My sincere condolences to you all at this very difficult time.

I was shocked to learn of Eamonn’s passing. He was hugely committed to the equestrian sector and was a great advocate for the horse sector. He also made a huge contribution to the British/Irish Chamber of Commerce. May he Rest In Peace.

This is just so terribly sad. I knew Eamonn for a very long time and he was a true gentleman. He made a great impression on everyone that met him with his sincerity and generosity. Thinking of all his family at this time. RIP Eamonn

To all of Eamonn's family and loved ones and, in particular, Dec, Ferg and Lorraine, my deepest sympathies on the loss of Eamonn. We became good friends through our involvement with the British Irish Chamber of Commerce and I was, and am, honoured to be part of the group of former Presidents of the Chamber - a group that Eamonn had a leading role in as he did in most things he committed to! Every time we met we had great fun and chats, he was incredibly proud of his children and having just heard them speak so beautifully at his funeral mass I can why. Eamonn had a warmth and a genuine interest in people and his laughter was infectious. Just a few short weeks ago we joined many other Chamber friends at the annual dinner and I will cherish the photos from that night and the memories of the fun we had which we carried on late into the night. Eamonn, rest easy - you will be missed.
