My sincere condolences to you all - your father was a lovely man and very kind to one and all. May he rest in peace.

My condolence to to the family of Eddie Broe.
I have been aware of Mr Broe since the 80's through the lovely stories of Aileen, but met him in person only once, when I shared a lovely evening with Mr Broe, Aileen and Douglas at his house. And yet he continues to be a strong and warm presence in my memory. I have just watched the live broadcast of the funeral service, which was deeply moving.

Sincere Sympathy to all the Broe family. Eddie was a highly respected Committee Member, an excellent Bridge player and Tournament Director for almost 50 years and will be sadly missed.

Eddie was a member of our Club for over 50 years and loved his game of Pitch & Putt. Indeed for many years we had the 4 Broe brothers , Eddie , Noel , Larry ( Lorenzo ), and Willie ( Liam ) in membership of Ierne. They were all keen sportsmen , tough but fair on the Snooker Table or Pitch & Putt Course.
To the family I say Remember the Good Times, and take care of one another. You are in my thoughts & prayers.
