I am so sad to see Eddie's death notice. I have spoken to him many many times over the years when walking the river bank to UL. Never knew his first name but such a sweet, softly spoken gentleman.

Sincere sympathy to all who loved Eddie and that were loved in return by him.Some great memories of Eddie as we both grew up in Garryowen in the 70/80s.These past few years were tough on Eddie as he struggled with health issues but to meet him all we would speak of was our days of playing football on the Hill.Sadly he did not get too long to enjoy his new home which he was so proud of and the bus stop so close to him.Rest easy old friend and may you meet all those of your family that have passed on before you.rip.
