Sincere condolences to Kathleen and all the family on the loss of your lovely Mum. Betty was such a positive and reassuring presence for us when Mammy (Kathleen Kavanagh) was in Lawson house in 23/24. Betty, ever cheerful and purposeful was kind, had great advice and helped us and Mam settle in. We had lots of happy times chatting away while Betty expertly crocheted the most beautiful blankets and also knitted patches for a blanket we were making . She had a true talent for craft. We will remember Betty warmly always and include her in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy to all the Dunne and Lucitt families. Betty was a absolute lady and a very close friend of my mother Kay Bateson (R.I.P). Meeting in London, they became best friends. My mother often said throughout the years "I dont know what I would of done without Betty at times!". Betty always helped out, where ever she could. Minding my sister and I. I was so glad they reconnected in the later years back here in Ireland and gosh could they catch up for hours!! Lol. One very special woman who will be sadly missed. Thank you Betty for all the memories. Rest easy. Ill never forget you! Say hello to Denis, Mum & Dad for me. Xx
