Cormac, my deepest condolences. I think the death of a parent no matter what age is one of life's most difficult challenges. My wonderful memories of Elizabeth and Tom go back as long as our childhood friendship. Her faith was infectious, strong and worn lightly. An incredible woman. Please be assured that Tom, yourself and Marie, Robert, Sarah and Nicholas, and all the McConnell family are in my thoughts and prayers. I celebrate mass this morning the Feast of All Saints and I'll offer it for your Mom and for your family's intentions. God bless.

I'm truly sorry to hear of the death of this wonderful, lively and faith-filled woman, who always seemed to much younger than her years. I'm sure she's now entertaining the saints and angels in heaven with her quick-witted conversation. My heart-felt sympathy goes out to all Elizabeth's immediate and extended family, and in particular to her husband, Tom, and to my old friend and faithful colleague in Manresa, Cormac. I deeply regret that I won't be able to be present at her Requiem Mass, but circumstances at this time are making this impossible for me. I will be offering Mass for the repose of her soul and, for those left behind, the consolation of the faith which she loved so dearly.

So sad to hear of the passing of Aunty Lily, my God Mother. I have the fondest memories of a gorgeous lady. Sending you all my deepest condolences. May she rest in peace
