Eoghan (Eoin) Morgan

My deep condolences to all the family. I was shocked to find out of Eoin’s death today. I worked with him in An Post and we stayed in touch through the years though not always regularly. I had no idea he had been gripped by this horrible disease.

Eoin was a lovely, kind man. In work he was always very supportive of others and very principled. He had such a wicked sense of humour and the most beautiful singing voice, he was wonderful company. He will be much missed

Those of us who only briefly knew Eoghan as an able and fair supervisor some 40 years ago will be sorry to read of his passing. I didn’t know he was a Tipperary man and assumed he was half Welsh! There is something halcyon in the present warm spell about a picture I have in my mind of him fraternising with colleagues outside Andrew Street Post Office. Condolences to his family and friends.

Very saddened to hear of Eoins passing today. I met Eoin, Colm, Richard and Derry in Cyprus in 2016 when I worked there for a year. We had manys the good session no more so than Paddys Day 2017 at the UNPOL club. The lads were my unofficial Uncles when I got them on the Green Line Tour thru Nicosia. Eoin and Colm have passed now agus ar dheis Dé a raibh a n-anamacha dhílís.
