I would have known Eugene when you both started going out together and we often had the odd pint in Dunphy's lounge. I will always remember him as being a very gentle and easy going man. It's so heartbreaking especially at this time of the year, but rest assured that you and both your families and friends are and will always be in our thoughts and prayers. May Eugene now get the bed he so richly deserves as he keeps watch on you all from above.Ar dheis de go raibh a ainm Eugene. Sorry we can't be there for the funeral due to illness, but we will be tuning in to the funeral mass.
