I am so sorry I didn't know about Facthna's untimely death until now.

I have lovely memories of our family's farmhouse holidays in Ardghehane. Facthna was the salt of the earth, a great guy who worked hard, and was so kind.

I will always remember how kind and supportive he and Teresa were when our Dad passed away unexpectedly.

A fabulous guy who lived life to the full while being so kind and thoughtful.

Rest in peace Facthna.

My sympathy on the death of Fachtna. He was a very efficient chairman of Carbery Marca decades ago. He was excellent to work with and I have many lovely memories of him: from getting stranded late at night in Stradbally, Co. Laois to organising the first Macra Efficiency Competition in Clonakilty Show. Mr. Chairman, may you have Eternal Rest.
