Very sad to hear of Fergie's death. A real gent, he displayed his Christianity in his cheerful kindness and generosity to so many people. I heard of Fergie long before I ever met him from a schoolmate, the late Malcolm Graham, who had such a high regard for him. RIP Fergie you kind and generous soul.

I was saddened to hear of Fergie's death, a lovely man whom I was privileged to know for almost 70 years. May his kind soul rest in peace.

We moved into our house in Beechwood Lawns in Rathcoole in June 1969 & immediately became customers of Fergie & Des until they moved on from Rathcoole - always remember the great service they gave us in Rathcoole at all times.
They were a big loss to Rathcoole!

Great memories of Fergie at his garage in Rathcoole,and his brother Des. Getting petrol there was like a mini service where they would check the water,lights etc. Making sure everything was safe They were true Gentlemen and the likes we will never see again. Fergie will now rest in peace.
