So sad today to hear the sad news of Fernando Custodio's passing,
we had such a special meeting with him last summer , always so fun and positive. On our 1st dates on the Song of Norway 92-94 he was always by our side , Please accept are sincere condolences to his daughter ( he was so proud of you ) family and friends.Rest in peace 🕊️ little bird love always Dino and Julie Xx❤️

‘Little bird’ you were one of a kind, a cheeky, fun loving, great guy! We were so sad to hear of your passing, you will never be forgotten and we will remember all the great times we had on the ships together over 30 years ago. I'm so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I knew Fernando in Wexford through his friend Paulo and we laughed a lot and had great times together at Paulos.

Despite his illness in recent years, which he bore so bravely, he supported Paulo throughout his illness too. He weathered the storms of life and always kept an open heart, which he shared easily and was a treaured friend to those closest to him.
May he rest in peace in heaven, with Paulo now too.

Fernando will be deeply missed by all his neighbours on George's Street. He was a very pleasant and positive man. He always had a friendly smile and kind word. Will be sadly missed.
