Sincerest condolences to the extended Kerrigan Family on the passing of Finbarr - I got to know him in the ‘60’s when we trained together - I also got know his Family, as I worked with his Dad, in Camolin in 1970 - in particular I knew Mary, Fidelma and the late Aiden quite well - ye will miss Finbarr !

It is with great saddnes that i hear of the passing of Finbarr may he rest in peace he like myself was born in 1947 had we been born in l948 or 1949 he would have won a lot of college all Ireland as St Peters college won the 1967 and the 1968 all Ireland from jpdevlin

My Condolence to the Kerrigan family on the news of the passing of Finbarr, we were students in Forestry College from the mid to late 60's and met up again when he worked in Forestry in the Athenry area in the mid 70's before he moved on to south Dublin.RIP

St. Mary’s GAA Club, Athenry, Co. Galway extends its deepest sympathy to Nessan, Fiachra, Ciara, the extended Kerrigan Family and many friends on the sad passing of Finbarr.
In the 1970’s Finbarr was a valued member of our Club and won a County Senior Hurling league medal in 1976. The following year he played for the Club in the Galway County Senior Hurling Final. He is fondly remembered by many of his teammates and friends around the fields of Athenry where he worked with the Department of Forestry.
