Heartfelt condolences on the immeasurable loss of your darling Frank. He was a wonderful man, a truly kind colleague and a proud family man. Always grateful for his help, wisdom and humour .. you’d run over late to printing and hope Frank would be on … he’d print your script, in the colour of your choice and send you off happy but not before he had the chats, laughs and righted a few wrongs. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Frank’s sudden passing. I grew up next door to Frank and he was a really lovely man. He was always really polite and kind over the years. When we were young the football would inevitably go over the back garden wall and frank was always patient with us, returning the ball and making a joke. I also went to school with his nephew Warren. A really lovely family, a really lovely person - will be sorely missed by all. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Back in mid-80s we both had rust bucket Datsuns and were competitive about which car’s rust was worse. I thought I’d won in the week my driving seat became unmoored but Frank claimed victory because he’d put six bags of shopping in his car’s boot and had arrived home with three.

I was so very sorry to hear of Frank's passing. RIP. I met him in my first week in RTÉ in 1979 when my colleague brought me over to the Printing Unit then located behind Montrose House. I didn't realise then what an important part he would play during my RTÉ career - first of all in the Printing Unit and then in Services. No matter what my "problem/panic" was, Frank had a solution, be it last minute printing of a document or latterly organising a courier for delivery late on a Friday afternoon. We had great chats and laughs along the way - no matter how busy it was, Frank always had time. My deepest sympathy to you, his much loved family, he always spoke so warmly about you during those chats. May his gentle soul rest in peace.
