New Year’s Day 2025 Thanks for sharing in the celebration of Gary’s life.
Thanks so much to everyone for thinking of our family. We appreciate the sympathy messages, the cards, masses, prayers and the overwhelming support. The stories and memories shared on RIP.ie Condolence book have provided
great comfort for our family.

Gaga was such an amazing man. I am so grateful to have known him he was the only fatherly figure in my life and has thought me so many life lessons that I will alway be great for and never forget. I will miss him so much. I am honoured to have been one of his grandchildren. I will miss making him laugh and laughing and being in his presence.

I was honoured to have such a lovely grandfather. I really appreciated everything he did for me. 2024 was the toughest year for Gaga. His influence and advice continues to help me and on New Year’s Day 2025, I hope and pray that my Nana Eileen and all the family will get strength and wisdom and comfort from the lovely memories. Going Into 2025 I think of gaga and the wonderful life he lived and his bright outlook on life. There’s so much I admired, adored and will miss about you but it’s your time to rest until we reunite.

Being the only Grandad I can remember, Gaga really meant a lot to me. It’s safe to say I really tested his patience through the years as a youngster but his influence, warmth and love really helped shape me into the person I am today.
He always had time for me and I cherished every moment I had with him, whether it was playing Golf at Fernhill or sitting in the back seat of his Mercedes.
I really will miss just shaking his hand or giving him a hug. I am really grateful for all the memories I shared with my Grandad and I will never forget him.

We give thanks for Gary and for the pleasure of knowing him. His great love for Eileen and all his family was very evident, as was his love and appreciation for his many friends and community. We remember Gary with fondness, a true gentleman of much warmth which he so easily shared with us all.

In the brief times that I met Garry I found him to be a very warm and loving gentleman.

Everyone loved Gary, none more than my dear late parents. As his proud son in law I was full of admiration for Gary’s diligent qualities. He lived a life of sublime goodness and covered our family with calmness, kindness, happiness and selflessness. With that, and constant love and joy, that Gaga brought to our adoring young family, he will be forever remembered in all our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Gary.
