Gary (Gar) Myers

I just found out today about Gary I used to coach with him at Forgewood boxing club and spent a lot of time with him over the years ,I’m devastated at hearing this rest in peace gary my old friend 🥊🥊

A laugh and smile that could light up any room, ham sandwiches, king crisps, many games together on the football pitch, trips to Wishaw, the music, the barrowlands, the wolfe tones, Man Utd, slagging Liverpool fans, boxing nights in, boxing nights out, cans in the field, north park, discussions on anything sport related, memories that will never be forgotten, one of a kind, one of the best, see you on the side

Gary, where do I start.

We worked together for a year and without a doubt it is a year I wont ever forget.

Days of driving a van together and us both belting out loudly to your favourite songs from the 80s 90s and so on.
We couldnt hold a note but it didnt stop us trying.

Pulling into Supermacs to get ice cream and doss on the way through our day.

Never a dull day we had.

Sharing stories from our boxing days (Our glory days)

Im going to miss your calls.

Im sorry I couldnt I be more available and im sorry we never got out for that night out but you understood how life goes 😔

You were wild and fun

The brightest spark in a dim world.

I hope you knew how many people you affected with your cheeky smile.
