My sincere condolences to the Henry family.. Geoff was a true gentleman, I had the pleasure of working with Geoff for many years at the Irish trade board, then Enterprise Ireland. He always had such a positive approach to life, easy going, plenty of laughs.
I remember as I started out in IT n my first work placement way back in the late 90s, Geoff had an F1 racing game and we got it installed on our computers so we could race each other on lunch break. This went on for a few weeks until sadly one staff member complained that we were making too much noise with all the laughing going on.
That will always be my memories of Geoff, a person with the warmest laugh and the biggest heart to help people.

Sincere sympathies to Geoff's family and all who worked with him.

Geoff solved all our IT glitches in Glenamaddy CS with innovation, always a step ahead of the students. Witty and resourceful, he helped us implement solutions like silencing student microphones, disabling profile pictures, and restricting chat. No matter the challenge, Geoff was there—often with an early morning fix ready to be tested.

He never spoke of his illness, and we were deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

May he rest in peace. Brigid, James, Eileen & all at Glenamaddy Community School

I’m heartbroken for you all on the loss of your Dad, Husband, Best Friend. Geoff was one of the smilest people I’ve ever met & his joy was infectious. I have no words that will stop the hurt you are feeling so I’m just going to use words from someone else. Sending you the biggest of hugs for the coming days

Instead of saying, "i know what it feels like", let's say "i cannot imagine your heartbreak".
instead of saying, "you're strong, you'll get through this, let's say " you'll hurt, and I'll be here.
instead of saying, "you look like you're doing well, let's say, "how are you holding up today?"
instead of saying, "healing takes time", let's say "healing has no timeline".
instead of saying, "everything happens for a reason, let's say "this must feel so terribly senseless right now".
and when there are no words to say at all, you don't need to try and find some. love speaks in silences too. 💕🫶🏻💕
— Michelle Fagan
Geoffrey Henry you were a true friend and gentleman to us all. I remember fondly our times in Cork walking through industrial estates handing out CV's looking for a start in life while Adrianne and Deirdre studied their nursing profession. Every day brought laughter and crack. As we matured through life, it was with great fun to reminisce on those early days. The memories are still so rich and will never be forgotten.
