To Val, Geoff and David,
With fond memories of childhood days spent on the Shannon and Christmas eves spent together in Rolys,today was a celebration of a legend in his field of expertise and a creative soul who made things happen for the good of art,design and creativity. Not many can do that. He evidently put his stamp on everything he was passion about and that can be seen in his children and grandchildren. Rest in peace Gerry. Gerry played a huge role in advocating for the design sector in Ireland and in the establishment of the IDI. So sorry to hear this. Fond memories of Gerry who helped us do up our house in Ballybetagh when we moved back from Brussels in the mid 1990s. A lovely man.
