Sophie, Niamh, Peter, and Harry,
I am absolutely heartbroken for all of you. Gerry was a true gentleman with the biggest heart, filled with love and pride for each of you. He always had the biggest smile on his face and was always ready to stop for a chat.

His warmth and kindness always made me feel like family, and I'll always treasure the great memories we shared, especially our trips to dundrum shopping centre & holiday to Spain. It’s so clear to see that Gerry’s kind nature and big heart made a lasting impression on everyone he met!

Sophie, I will always be here for you and love you so much. Your dad is so proud of the loyal, strong, kind & all round amazing person that you are and have always been.

Soph,

I am so incredibly sorry to hear of the loss of your dad, Gerry. He was a kind, caring, sweet soul and he had so much love for you as his little girl.

I would give nothing more than to be there with you during this difficult time. However, I’m so glad to have been able to join via webcam in Sydney, to listen to you and your brothers share your lovely goodbyes.

The ceremony was so beautifully organised, which is no surprise, as having an eye for detail is something your family has always shared.

My thoughts are with you, Niamh, Peter, Harry during this very sad time. Wishing you all my love.
