We have just learned of Gerry's passing, shocked & saddened to hear this news.We had lots of great times both here & in Alanya, Gerry had the most kind & caring character and was always there for his friends to lend help & support without question. Mischevious, Intelligent, full of fun & energy,loved to socialise & a lovely voice, 'The Town I loved So Well' springs to mind. So Sad to to hear you left this earth and our thoughts are with his beloved Ena & all the family.

So, so sorry to hear your sad news. I have always been incredibly fond of my uncle Gerald and held him in such high regard. He always had the brightest smile and willing laugh when we met yet you knew he was always thinking deeply. He was such a brave and creative man to have run his own businesses in so many fields, and with such a zest for life. I was fascinated listening to him. Summed up by his work on refloating and restoring that boat, I was in such awe of his brilliance, his genius, his determination. A life so well lived. I know he will be sorely missed by us all.
