I’m deeply sorry to hear about your loss. It was always a pleasure working Hans-Jurgen, we meet initially at ESI in Bilbao and I remember those days fondly, him acting as a mentor and coach and always eager to share his experiences. Please know my thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Many years ago, I had the chance to listen to Hans-Jürgen talking about an abstract concept of future mobility and I have never met such an inspiring and impressive speaker again. It was an honor to work for KMC - a space for extraordinary thinkers, created by his passion (and his partners). My best wishes for his family and friends ❤️. I wish you energy for all the tasks coming, patience for the individual ways of handling grief and finally the strength to enjoy the memories of beautiful moments and the courage to let got of the hurtful.

I'm very sad to hear that Hans-Jürgen has passed away. He was one of my greatest inspirators at Q-Labs and I will never forget our common appearance as Saint Niklas and his servant on a company event with our families.
I will never forget him.

Hans-Juergen was the epitome of a gentleman, and wholly supportive to others of many creative adventures in film, art and music. Hans-Juergen was a true and much loved friend. Yes he was an amazing scientist and visionary, indeed he introduced us to the World of AI many years ago, but to us he was just our loyal and caring friend. We will always cherish the holidays we spent together in Spain, various celebrations for Easter,Christmas and New year, Birthdays, Kniffels( oh the shouts of glee),
Pizzas from the Pizza Oven and indeed any excuse for a celebration.
Some people leave footprints in the sand , but you Hans-Juergen have left yours in our hearts.
Peace at the last.

Wir haben einen guten Freund verloren, einen treuen Unterstützer und Wegbegleiter der ersten Stunde. I remember Hans-Jurgen fondly from my time at Trinity as an undergraduate and subsequently as an employee as Generics, a company he co-founded. A skilled lecturer and a man of gentle humor.

Hans-Jürgen was a visionary, a forward thinker. Based on an extreme amount of knowledge, he always looked far into the future. That really helped us all to make the company successful.
And he was a wonderfully good person. He made an outstanding contribution to the culture of partnership in our company.
