I was shocked & terribly saddened upon hearing of Harry's recent untimely passing.

Harry has left behind an extraordinary legacy of achievements in the field of Civil Engineering. I worked with others in Westmeath's National Roads Office & our team was privileged to have had Harry's leadership, professionalism, intellect, competence, & humour, in the development & realisation of many road & motorway projects.

In addition, Harry was a most personable & astute gentleman who left a great impression on everyone he met. His like may never be seen again.

I extend my deepest condolences to Harry's family, friends & all his loyal colleagues in ROD. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

So sad to hear of Harry's passing. Sincere sympathy to his family. I will be forever grateful for the start he gave me at ROD. He was an absolute gentleman. RIP.

So sorry to hear this. Worked with Harry and Joe O’Donovan over 25 yrs ago and liked them both from our very first meeting. Harry was a gentleman, a straight talker, genuine, a fine engineer and easy company. Met him a few times since and it was always a pleasure. Rest in peace Harry.

I was privileged to work alongside Harry and ROD on various projects for a good number of years. He was a gentleman, a professional and highly regarded by his colleagues, his friends, his clients and the industry. He had a wicked sense of humour and I loved the stories he told about his boys antics with such pride and fun.
