Helen Comerford was my teacher at the Steiner inspired Kilkenny School of Art and Design. I was so incredibly blessed to have found my way to her because she had that rare sort of deep-seated love for truth that is powerful enough to set people free from oppression in their hearts and in their hands and in their heads. Helen's kind of spirit never dies, it just changes from one form to another.
Most sincere condolences from my family to yours. I will never ever forget your kindnesses and inspirational ♡ rest in peace Helen
My heartfelt condolences to David and Medb... I was blessed to have Helen as an art teacher, she gave so much of her time, love and energy to all of us who were lucky to have her teach us about art, and life... She was a wonderful teacher, artist and human... She always encouraged us to be better versions of ourselves...

Deepest sympathy for Helen's family.
We were classmates at boarding school, and she was so lively and vibrant.
I last saw her about four or five years ago when she invited the class to Kilkenny and Kells and her studio for one of our get togethers. So enjoyable and invigorating.
She will be so greatly missed in all the worlds she touched.

Mum - I still cannot believe you are gone. 😢 You taught me much of what I know about life. You also happened to be an amazing artist, but you were simply Mum to me. Rest easy and enjoy the next part of your journey! I love you and you will forever be in my heart. ❤️
I meet Helen only for a short moments, but they were very special. Helen explained some of her technology. And Alan and Doris Potter received a picture of which I did not now that it will be my present for my fare well of the congregation in Tuamgraney. And this picture has now a very special place in Germany/Stuttgart in my apartement where I can have a look on a daily basis, it gives me a lot of joy every day and many friends who have seen it they liked it very much as well. So this picture will be always connected with my special encounters with Helen. She will be unforgetable.
