On behalf of the Irish Cycling Campaign I want to express my sympathy on the death of Hugh to his family and to his friends in Pedal Vintage Cycling. Hugh invited us to Durrow last year along with Age Cycling to present at the Laois symposium on Rural Cycling and it was a pleasure to meet such a warm, generous and enthusiastic man. His enthusiasm was infectious . I was very sorry to hear of his illness and sad to learn of his passing. It was so interesting to read about all the other strings to Hugh's bow in the Leinster Leader. He truly was a gift to his community Ar dheis Dé go raibh sé
