Martin, it was with sadness that I learned of Irene's passing.
It is with pleasure I recall the many years I knew her in Beaverstown GC where she was one of the driving forces within the Club in its early days, especially the ladies section.
I regret I'll be unable to attend her funeral as I'm away on holiday.
