Sincere condolences to the extended Cullen family on the passing of Jimmy. He was an outstanding public servant as driver of the CIE bus between Ballinamore, Dromod Station and Longford. Fond memories of the flower displays he maintained beside the bus garage at St Felim's.

Sincere condolences to the Cullen family on Jimmy's passing. Jimmy was a real gentleman who exemplified what true public service was all about. Jimmy's bus stopped outside our shop in Hyde St, Mohill where many great stories were shared. May he rest in peace.

“Jimmy’s Bus” went by our house few times a day. It was always a treat to get a lift home from town on it. May he rest in peace.

Childhood memories come flooding back as Jimmy and Red bus plied its trade between Ballinamore and Longford. Many’s the time I would have used it . He was a total gentleman.

Very sorry to hear of Jimmys death. Jimmy was always very friendly and set for a chat. I also remember him when we were both helping out at Knock shrine which he will benefit from in the next life. He was also a great supporter of churches in Sligo. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

I knew Jimmy for many years, from his time working from Ballinamore and then when he moved to Sligo. After his retirement I regularly met him out walking and we always exchanged greetings. Another of life’s gentlemen gone to their eternal reward.
