Dear Mary, Paul, Eugene and all of Jim's extended family and friends, we are very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim. We knew Jim from playing music, from our Frank Custy days in Toonagh on a Friday night to the current sessions in Cois na hAbhna on a Saturday. We always enjoyed having a chat with Jim and playing tunes with him. Jim will be very much missed by all his fellow musicians in the sessions he played in.
Jim often mentioned his daughter Emer to us. Rest in eternal peace Jim with Emer and thank you for the music.

Jim was a core part of the story of X-PO since its inception in 2007. He was a regular contributor to the weekly singers' evening. Jim also enjoyed many other evenings down the years at X-PO including talks, social occasions and open mic sessions where he played his beloved accordion.
