Philomena, James (Joanne), and Ailíse (Conor) , Éabha, Tanya and Stephen, sister in laws, brother in laws, nieces and nephews,
May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall,
You do not walk alone.
May the sweet light of change shine in the darkness,
May the first breath of each morning begin life again,
May the memories unfold as prayers for life,
May the love continue to fill the silence.

Sincere condolences to The McDowell Family on the sudden passing of James. James was very good to me when I started in building back in 2007 and was like a mentor to me when it came to life, carpentry and boxing, we spent the guts of 4 years working together and listening to the Doors, Nirvana and Guns N roses to name a few while he would tell me stories of the 80s and I would show him new emo music or some conspiracy theory I just read about , after we both left building we always kept in contact be it a text or two or meet up in Dub or more recently I met him in Leitrim, I am glad that I got to know James on many levels and can say he was a rare good man who walked not talked and embodied fair masculine principles!
