Prayerful Sympathy on behalf of the Nazareth Sisters and all here at the Nazareth Care Home in Hammermith to May, his loving wife and life-long friend. To John, Barry, Madeleine and James his children and to their famiies as well as to Jim's extended family members and his many friends.
Jim was a special presence with us here at the Nazareth Care Home. He combined a humanity, a holiness and a quality of humour that was refreshing. He retained his unique smile, despite his illness.
None of us can ever know how in the space of silence that accompanied Jim's illness, an 'icognito' God whispered to Jim's heart and soul - especially when he received Holy Communion every day with a fervent faith.
May Jim's noble and gentle soul, rest in the peace and promise of God's loving and
eternal presence.
— Fr. John Cullen (London)
Deepest sympathy to all of the Ryder family and may you find some comfort in knowing Jim is no longer in pain and suffering! Jim was and is a true gentleman, always smiling and laughing and was full of humour (with his turtle joke, i loved)...may the next generation of his family instil his ways into their hearts and carry his memory forward. He would be so proud of them all.
