Sincere sympathy to Fiona Noreen Linda and Maeve extended Gormley family on the death of Jay. Got to know Jay when Jay and his late wife Rita came to visit Kit and Pat Mc Cormick rip. He was a lovely friendly gentleman. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

We wish to offer our sympathies to Jay's family on his death. Years ago I bought a boat he owned at Mullaghmore, it was called the Fulmar. He and his family had years of enjoyable sailing in it, and I enjoyed it for years afterwards. Jay, thanks for the memories.

I never met your dad Linda but what a fine looking man he was and what a wonderful job he did raising a wonderful daughter in you. You are a credit to him and I know you will miss him so much. Please accept mine and Billy’s deepest sympathies on your sad loss. He will remain in your heart forever.

So very sad to hear of your lovely dad's passing, Linda, Fiona, Noreen and Maeve, and all the family. I only met him once or twice, but he made an impression, such a gentleman. He was much loved, and cared for until the end. May he rest in peace now.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet this wonderful man. He always welcomed me into his home, and many of our interesting conversations are still fresh in my memory to this day. My deepest sympathies Maeve, Rory, and all of your family on your loss.

Jay, you will be sorely missed.
As head of the family, you have guided, advised, inspired and loved in your own inimitable way.
Your legacy will be the inculcation of those solid values, which you held so dearly, in your children, grandchildren, and ultimately great grandchildren.
It is the end of an epoch, and I mourn. I mourn deeply together with the whole family, and your extraordinarily wide circle of friends and former colleagues.
