So sorry to hear of Joan’s passing Toni. Such fond memories. Sending you my love and sympathy. Bill
— Bill Hyland
It’s late of the hour I have heard of the passing of this lovely soul . Our paths in life met for a while in that hallowed building in Nassau Street where the careers progressed in that serene environment of the 1970’s . It seems so long ago now and nothing -only the memories remain , but those of a friendship although brief in time still lingered on . Everyone who met her will agree ‘ she was lovely’ - and therein lies the legacy .
My sincerest sympathies to all the families- and to those I know more than some . Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

She was beautiful, fun and fascinating to talk to. She radiated with laughter, love, and positive affirmation whenever I met her. She will be greatly missed. Sending you and all the family strength and love and a wish that the happy moments you shared will leave beautiful memories that will live on forever in your hearts.

I share my deepest condolences with you all and also a few lines of comfort by John O’Donoghue:
“…And when your eyes
freeze behind
the grey window
and the ghost of loss
gets in to you,
may a flock of colours,
indigo, red, green
and azure blue
come to awaken in you
a meadow of delight…"

Thank you for the endless and enduring colours you brought to our lives Joan.
