Deepest sympathy to Oonagh and the Clarke family. Great memories of working with Joe in Broadstone. May you rest in peace my friend.
— Joe Cunningham, Bus Eireann
So saddened to hear about Joe's passing. I met Joe many years ago on the 111. He was always so jovial and full of chat, and as soon as he discovered I was a travel agent, my lovely bus driver became one of my best and favourite customers. Not only did he book his own group holidays through me but he sent tonnes of business my way. I was absolutely delighted to see himself and Oonagh last month, when they popped into the office and it's very hard to believe that won't happen again. Joe was an absolute gent, so kind and good natured and will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to know him. Thinking of you Oonagh, and all of Joe's family and friends at this heartbreaking time x

Oonagh,
I can hardly believe he's gone or begin to say how very sorry I am for your loss. And it's a huge loss ... Joe was a great friend and a lovely bloke to know ... and very funny ... that story about the ticket at Old Trafford ... but for me, what stood out about Joe, was the way he felt about you. The love you had for each other was expressed in every little word that passed between you. It was a wonderful thing to see and Joe will be very greatly missed by all of us. But we know this is nothing at all compared to your loss.
Sending you all my love
