Where do I begin. A great friend colleague and confidant for 30 years. A caring gentle giant who was respected by everyone both personally and in business. I’ll miss our conversations and times together as he will be very much missed by myself and many more in the Voortman family.

I still have fond memories of you when we were classmates and also when we were learning our trades, we chatted upstairs on the bus on our way into Bolton st. college.You were learning to be a welder and i was learning to be a panel beater.

I’m very sorry for your loss. I’ve known Joe since we moved into adjacent units in Baldonnell in 2006. He was always good for a chat and a laugh, and never stopped trying to improve his business and pushing me to improve mine. We’ll miss him greatly.
