It is with great sadness that I heard this news. John and I go back to primary school days and met up again in Bord na Mona. John was a sound Newbridge man of substance and had great integrity. I extend my deepest sympathy to Eileen and family and I regret that I am unable to attend his funeral. May John rest in peace.
