Dear Karen, your mum and the family,
Sincere condolences on the very sad news about the passing of your father, John. From the times I met him in Dubai with your mum and sister and the news I often heard about him, he certainly enjoyed life and his family very much....he was a genuinely lovely man and I'm so glad I met him.
He was extremely supportive of everyone, and also still to this day appreciate the prayers he had for myself and everyone who worked at Brash...for the success of the company ...he will always have a place in my heart and be part of our history.
Warm regards
Stephanie and John

John always seemed larger than life. He was devoted to my Aunty “Little” Eileen and doted on their children. In fact he doted on all kids. John and Eileen seemed very exotic when we were kids; bringing gifts of things like cocktail umbrellas, swizzle sticks, flamenco dancer dolls and bulls from Spain and elsewhere. I’m so glad you all continued to travel and were able to include family in that. He sang Sinatra and Munro at our wedding reception and gave it welly! May you all enjoy sharing memories over the next few days and longer. Our deepest condolences. May he rest in peace

My family lived 2 doors down from John and Eileen. We have wonderful memories of Christmas morning drinks. It was a big family affair for the Lalors and their generosity knew no end. We felt very privileged to be considered family. Even though John didn’t drink he knew how to pour a big gin and tonic! I called in to see Eileen and on a rare trip to Dublin a few years ago. He was still as busy as ever. He will be so missed but very much alive in our hearths with all the wonderful memories especially for our daughter Aisling who had many a sleep over with Karen minding her.
