Sincere sympathies, Pearl, on the death of John. I have such warm memories of our friendship in UCD and of the great talks on politics, philosophy and the meaning of life. He was a terrific actor, taking the lead in Arthuro Ui and Krapps Last Tape. We laughed a lot too and I felt lucky to know him back then. We lost touch after college although I occasionally bumped into him around town. I kept meaning to contact him for a catchup-I’m so sorry that it’s now too late. He was such a lovely man. May he rest in peace.
