Really sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. We were good friends for many years since secondary school, but life took us in different directions so we’d only occasionally meet in later years. I send my love & condolences to all Jacks family, he was a great character & a genuine good guy. It’s not goodbye, it’s just farewell..💚

He swayed one but the other broke your heart Jack, committed to City no matter how many jerseys you brought him!! You were always running about, doing for others, cutting grass, painting, driving to training and matches. May you take your well earned rest now in peace... We know you will look after your daughter, Jake the absolute apple of your eye, and your little granddaughter, as well our lovely neighbours Setanta and the kids, as well from above as you did whilst you were here. Sincere condolence to the donovan… jack was a good friend and many a good laugh or a wind up we had… he taught the world of Sahara and the kids I would here him telling me about bring Jake to football/hurling training… you could set your watch by when he would ring for a chat to see how things is going… rest in peace my dear friend

Cant believe you are gone jack, i feel blessed to have had you in my life for so many years
You were always so good to me and my kids, you adored harleigh, "wheres my harleigh" you would always say
I will miss the early morning visits at 7.30 just calling in for a chat, our cups of tea and chats and how you would open a chocolate bar with your teeth that i always found funny
Cutting my grass while i was working and would come home to a clean kicthen and you would always leave out a mug with a teabag and a little spoon so i could make myself a cup of tea when i came home
So many more memories i could say
I pray for sahara jake and haydees healing and peace he loved you so dearly

Jack I find it so hard to believe you have passed away , not a day went by that you didn't ring me to ask how I was and how the children were . I'm going to miss sticking the kettle on for you and throwing away the empty chocolate bar wrappers you always left beside the cup of tea when you were finished.
