So sad to hear of John's passing. My prayers go out to Stella, Sarah Jane, Stephen, and James. Also for Leonie, Enda, and Nancy. Had privilege and pleasure of meeting my Irish cousin and his family many years ago. I pray the Lord provides the faith that enables us to see beyond the pain and sorrow. Help us find peace in the midst of our grief. I pray His presence is a source of comfort and healing as we mourn our loss, which is His gain.

I remember very well the shop in Cormac St where I would hand in a list of groceries which would be delivered the next day to our home in Church Street. His father Patrick was a very kind man and from reading all the comments John inherited many gifts from him.
I remember John very fondly in the late forties and early fifties when we left Tullamore to live in SANDYCOVE.
My late sister Geraldine was in at the beginning of the IDA and would probably have known John as was her husband Ray McLoughlin.
May their souls Rest In Peace. xxx
