Shelagh and family, deepest sympathy on John's passing.
I've great memories of John in the Cub Scouts, the picture of him rowing the boat brings me back to a great day 40 plus years ago when he brought us out in his boat from Dooney Rock to Beezies Island for a campfire, he told me i was the only kid he ever met that didnt drink cocacola!
And in later years when he bought his new cars from us, we always gave him the run of the workshop over a weekend so he could strip them out and rustproof them better than Fords could manage!
His gentle and kind demeanor touched so many lives.
