Murph was such a special person and friend. Many of my favourite memories are ones I shared with him whether it be on the rugby pitch, in the dorms, or travelling up and down from Glenstal together. He was someone I looked up to a huge amount and I consider myself so lucky to have had him as a friend.

John and I were partners in crime together in college and I had some of the best years of my life with him. He left a mark on everybody he met with his friendliness, kindness and compassion.
