I was shocked to hear of Sean's passing. I remember him from the early 80s in Killeigh Macra na Feirme. Some great fun times.

My condolences on the sad passing of Sean. I have great memories of my time in Killurin (staying with my Aunt Mai Meacle & family) and a lot of these revolve around Sean and a shared love of hurling, a good chat and people. He made me so welcome in my time there and we stayed in touch since following the ups and downs of both our counties. A gentleman who will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Saddened to learn of Johns passing. What a fitting tribute to him and his love of the GAA to have his final farewell in his beloved Killurin GAA. He had a huge grá for the hurling in particular.
