May I offer my deep condolences to the family of Johnny. He was a great friend of ours in W+J Hall cameras on Talbot Street. His love of movies and photos of the film stars and music was legendary. May he now rest in peace.
— Jim Hall
As a family we were deeply saddened to hear Johnny had passed away and the funeral was over by the time we found out . We were devastated we didn’t get to pay our respects to a man who was our neighbour for many years . He was kind to us all especially our boys who had great fun with him and enjoyed his banter . He’s up there now awaiting the arrival of Halle Berry who he was in awe of .
Our condolences to all the clan .
— John Dorothy Ian and Adam Mc Hale

Please accept the deepest sympathies of the Mahons (the late Michael and Maureen's family) on the passing of our cousin Johnny. Many happy childhood memories of visiting Cabra - a house full of laughter, Uncle Eddie, "playing" the piano, Johnny singing "Mammy" and showing home movies and lovely Aunt Winnie hosting us all with ease and smiles. May they all now be reunited at peace.
