Rose it was with such sadness that I heard of Joes passing today. You and your daughters and grandchildren have lost somebody really special ! Ye have our sincere sympathy. All the fun and laughs we had in Dublin in the early 70s!!! Rest in Peace Joe. You were one of the good ones !!!!!! Chris.

Joe loved going down to Ma Gibson(shop) in Benburb street for the sambo. Joe was a funny, witty man never short of a word.God rest you Joe.

He was my next-door neighbour in Drangan and we cycled to Moyglass National School together for three years in the fifties.
