So sorry to only hear today of Joe's passing, I will always remember him for his praise of my business with him, and support for many years and loved meeting him. Sincere sympathies to you Kay and all the family, A legend out on his own. May he rest in peace.

On behalf of my beloved Margo and myself, I am struggling to put into words, what Joe's death has meant to us!
Together with his darling wife Kay and himself, we shared 63 years of the best and closest friendship that anyone could wish for! Our families couldnt have been closer and still are.
We worked, holidayed, sported and competed in many ways and never was there a cross word. We shared our victories and our loses but we always knew we had each others support if needed!
I can only say that I agree with all the condolences I've read and say, " YOU DON'T KNOW THE HALF OF IT" !!! There was only one Joe! And behind him, he had the incredible Kay and his talented and loving family who adored him! Rest easy, my dear friend! We will never forget You!! Margo and Gerxx

Thank you so much for the wonderful send off for Joe at Rathsallagh and Grangecon. It brought back so many happy memories of Joe and you all during the sixties and seventies in Cork and Baltimore. How time flies.
