I met Kandaliss at an event in Galway University in the summer of 2022. We spoke on the phone beforehand, preparing for our interview. Even over the phone, I was struck by this young woman's quiet strength: her spirit seemed to have been intensified by all that she had been through. Our public conversation flowed and was - on her part - generous and reflective of all her lived experience.
I am deeply sorry that such a positive life-force has been extinguished in such an untimely manner and I send my sincere condolences to her mother and to all her family. It has been a privilege to know her - even so fleetingly. I am so sorry for your loss. Catherine Dunne

She has impacted my life in ways she never knew and i learned so much from her. I was very fond of her and always will be. She was a proud mammy to her little girl. Special hugs to you both during this time.
