Dear Gene, Paul and Stephen. Our sincere condolences to you all and the rest of the Finn and Drake families. You had the best of mums. To me she was Auntie Kathleen. Caring, loving and lots of tears when we left Courtmac at the end of our summer holidays. From staying up at the home in the early 80’s, having Bacon and Cabbage up at your home, taking bags of scones home in the car to England, her sitting at the front table the discos in the hall, catching me with an alcoholic drink when I was slightly under age (I was scared), days out in the car with her and Jerry all round West Cork and Kerry. In more recent times being in Berlin with you all and driving down and seeing her at the market. Auntie Kathleen you have headed Westalong (only a few will get that) and I will see you there one day. Gene, Paul, Stephen, Noel, Carmel, Bernie, Assumpta, Martha and the extended Finn and Drake families, Kathleen is gone from us but will never be forgotten. We have lovely happy memories of Kathleen, Jerry and the boys in our house on many a night, the fun, laughter, chats and the odd argument mainly over a game of cards. She was a great friend to us, especially Rebecca whom she treated as one of her own and always looked out for her. Rest in Peace Kathleen.
