She was a wonderful customer of ours in the 1970s to 1990s.
We were Selling Agents for one of the biggest Dress Manufacturers in Europe.
The MD of that company always insisted that we show the new collection first to Madame Kay.
He knew how expert she was - and he needed to know what his own best styles were. !
She was that good - and a lovely lady to do business with too !

I am so sorry to hear of Kitty’s death and I want to offer my condolences to her husband, sons and extended family and friends. I just loved Madame Kay’s shop and I went there most weekends on my return home from working in Dublin. All my friends in Dublin admired the clothes I bought in Madame Kay’s. The service and attention from Kay herself and her excellent staff was second to none. Kay would always acknowledge you in The shop even when not dealing with you. She really valued her customers and was generous with discounts.
Kay and her staff never rushed you. They gave you time and suggestions for matching clothes together . Many shops today could learn a lot from Kay.
