Dear John, Roisin, Olivia, George, Mary and Martin,
I’m so sorry, today on Mothers Day and everyday I'm sending love to you All.
Kathleen you were the very best, the most decent, the warmest,
the best craic, the lightest, brightest, sharpest person I’ll ever know.
Your big-heartedness was matched by your brilliant generosity of spirit.
When I am lonely, I feel your love,
When I'm cross at the world, I remember your strength,
When I am lost, your light guides me on my way,
When I feel low, I remember your kindness,
When I am sad, I hear your laugh,
When I sing, I sing to you.
When I soar, I soar with you.
You are so very special Kathleen,
the best Godmother, the best friend.
Thanks for everything, we all love you so much.
You are forever in our hearts

John, sincerest condolences to you and your family on the untimely passing of Kay. She was a great person and a legendary personality within Hibernian who was so proud of her Tipperary roots, which she always loudly clarified with the words "South Riding". She will be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
I was so sorry to hear of Kay’s passing. She was a wonderful friend to my Dad Kevin O Donohoe. He enjoyed meeting Kay & pals from the Men’s shed daily for coffee after mass in the Ballyroan Community Centre & the Sunday night music sessions. She will be sorely missed by them all. May she rest in peace.
Our sincere sympathy to John and family. Kay was such a lovely lady who was so involved in the Community. We will miss her in Ballyboden Church and at the music sessions in St. Enda's, Ballyboden. May she rest in peace.

Helen and I always looked forward to Kathleen coming down to Tipperary, she gave us all a lift, she had that great gift, in her company everything seemed more alive, more fun. Kathleen was the best sister and the best friend we could have asked for, there was no end to her kindness and generosity. She was a great listener, a terrific organiser, brilliant for advice, always so selfless and without even trying she was the life and soul of every party.
Coming up to the matches when Tipp were playing in the hurling we used to have great chats and we have some wonderful stories from those happy days in Croker. I loved Kathleen's insights into the matches her opinions were always wise and fair.
Anytime we went to Dublin Kathleen showed us the warmest of welcomes, we had some wonderful nights in Glendoher, in her company the time flew, evenings turned into mornings in the blink of an eye. We were so humbled to see the poignant tributes her lovely friends and neighbours paid to her as they waved and clapped for Kay. She was everyone’s favourite.
John, Róisín, Olivia, George and Mary she loved you all so much. Our hearts are broken and our words seem so useless we feel you were taken too soon.
We will always love you Kathleen, thanks for everything, you showed us how to live. Whenever I have a glass of brandy I’ll say cheers to you. We’ll forever hold you in our hearts and know you are there by our sides.
We will never see your likes again in Ballinaraha.
