I’m so sad to learn of the death of my friend Kevin. He was so good to me and such a loyal person in my life. I will never forget the memories and the good times he and I shared. RiP Kevin. You were a one off, one of a kind and a true lover of sport and a great long lost friend. RiP.

I used to see Kevin every morning on my way to work stopping traffic as a Lollipop man when he would salute and smile as he led the public safely across the road to school. I didn't even know his name but even then I knew he was a special part of the Longford community. Fast forward a number of years and we became friends and colleagues and I learned he had a lot of virtues. A wonderful human being. Heartfelt Sympathy to Cathy, Darren, Sean all the Dempsey and extended family and friends of Kevin's and his beloved dog Scruffy. Thinking of you at this time. Rest in peace Kevin 🙏
